Congratulations on the Birth of your Newborn Baby
We appreciate this is a busy and exciting time for you and your family. However, it is essential that your child is registered with a GP Practice as soon as possible. This is so that their medical record can be established prior to any appointments, including their upcoming six-week baby check and immunisations appointments.
As soon as these appointments become available, we will contact you with these details. It is important that you attend these appointments, including the Mother’s post-natal check (undertaken at the same time as the babies six-week check).
Your child’s first immunisations appointments will take place when they are atleast eight weeks old. Please note, it is important that your child has their six-week check prior to any vaccinations.
