Who Do I See?

GP Practices coordinate a large area of Primary Care services for patients' ongoing medical requirements.

Depending on your medical enquiry, you may be signposted to another healthcare professional / service as opposed to a GP. This is so that you consult with the most appropriate person(s) without a delay.

In addition, consultations may take place in person or via a telephone consultation. These appointments may also take place at Blackthorn Health Centre or via ESP Hub, which is our locally managed Health Hub service on behalf of the two local practices, (including Hedge End Medical Centre).

Some of the services we provide and the best way to access these can be established via the list below.

If you are unsure of the appropriate service that you require please use our eConsultation service or call the practice.

Where appropriate, minor conditions (as detailed below), should be reviewed at your local pharmists / chemist. If advised by the pharmacist or your condition has not improved following their treatment this can be reviewed by the practice clinical team.
